The Cuban Parade of New Jersey has 3 principal objectives:


• Celebrate the Cuban-American community's rich cultural heritage, history and traditions.
• Increase public awareness of the community's contributions in public service, business and the arts.
• Provide businesses an opportunity to show their support and promote their products and services


The Parade consists of five events leading up to the parade on Sunday June 3, 2007:

 


Annual Golf Outing – On Wednesday May 23, 2007 The Cuban Parade of NJ Committee will host its 

annual golf outing at the High Mountain Golf Club, 845 Ewing Avenue, Franklin Lakes, NJ.

Celia Cruz Park event - On Thursday, May 31, 2007 a tribute to Celia Cruz will be held at her park located at

31st Street & Bergenline Ave in Union City, NJ. A star dedication will be held at this event for certain distinguished

individuals

VIP Party - On Thursday May 31, 2007 a VIP party will be held for our invited guest & sponsors of the parade.

Gala Event - On Friday, June 1, 2007 the Parade Committee will host a gala at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Secaucus New Jersey, sponsors and select participants in the Parade will enjoy an evening of dining and dancing to live Cuban and Latin rhythms.

 

Pasion Cubana "El Show" - On Saturday June 2, 2007 the Cuban Day Parade will host their second (Cuban Musical Show) at the Park Performing Arts Center in Union City, NJ.



Parade - This event will take place on Sunday June 3, 2007 starting at 4:00 pm. The route will cover the core

business district of Bergenline Ave, considered one of New Jersey's premier commercial strips. It will begin at 22nd Street and Bergenline Avenue in Union City, New Jersey and conclude at 48th st Street & Bergenline Ave in

Union City, NJ
At the end of the parade a reviewing stand ceremony will be held with interviews of our distinguished guest and entertainment.
